Business studies once again among the most popular study options at the University of Oulu

Oulu Business School received a total of 2,489 applicants in the second joint application round this spring. The Bachelor’s and Master’s Programme in Economics and Business Administration was the among the three most popular study options at the university with Medicine and Psychology.

The Finnish-language degree programmes of Oulu Business School once again attracted strong interest from applicants. A total of 2,489 applicants applied to the five-year integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s Programme through the main application process. Of these, 963 applicants selected Oulu Business School as their first-choice study option.

There are a total of 235 study places available in the Business School’s programmes. The results of the open university pathway admissions will be published in May, with a quota of 55 study places allocated to this route. The main admission method for the Bachelor’s programme is certificate-based selection, with results to be published on 25 May 2026. The Economics and Business Administration programme is part of the national entrance exam F, which will be held on Thursday, 3 June from 9:00 to 12:00.

The final student admission results will be published no later than 2 July, and accepted applicants must confirm their study place by 9 July at 15:00. Applicants can monitor their application status and accept their study place through the My Studyinfo service.
