Campus restaurant lunch prices reduced – Some restaurants renamed
Since 1 July 2025, the student restaurants on the Linnanmaa and Kontinkangas campuses have been operated by Juvenes and Sodexo. As a result of the tendering process, the price of student lunches has been reduced, and some restaurants have been given new names. A student-priced meal is available upon presenting a valid student card or the Kela meal subsidy card.
On the Linnanmaa campus, Juvenes operates the familiar restaurants Foobar, Kerttu, Mara and Voltti. At Kontinkangas, restaurant Medisiina has also transferred to Juvenes. The basic student lunch price at Juvenes restaurants is €1.09. In addition, some restaurants offer special lunches at a student price of €5.60.
At Sodexo’s restaurants, the basic student lunch costs €0.69. The Sodexo restaurants on the Linnanmaa campus are:
- Hilla and Hilla-Garden (formerly Julinia)
- Mustikka (central hall, formerly Lipasto)
- Café Aspretto Puolukka (central hall, formerly Lipasto Café)
