Campus as a Stage: Culture Lunches - Come Dine With Me at Kontinkangas

The idea of the Culture Lunches is to bring cultural experiences to surprising and unexpected situations, such as during peak lunch times at the lunch restaurant. Several interest societies under the University of Oulu Student Union participate in enriching everyday meal times on our campuses with both music and theater.

On Wednesday the 6th of May from 11.30 to 12 the Campus as a Stage Culture Lunch event will feature lunch music provided by the University of Oulu Chamber Orchestra. Welcome to enjoy a music-filled lunch moment at Restaurant Medisiina on the Kontinkangas campus!

In 2026, the University of Oulu will organize a year-long Campus as a Stage event series, the purpose of which is to showcase the broad cultural expertise of our university community and bring culture to the everyday life of our campuses and to the wider public. The series includes culture lunches, culture lectures, After Work events, various exhibitions and community art works, and art tours of the university's art collections.
