Campus as a Stage: Culture Lunches – Story time at restaurant Kerttu

The idea of the Culture Lunches is to bring cultural experiences to surprising and unexpected situations, such as during peak lunch times at the lunch restaurant. Several interest societies under the University of Oulu Student Union participate in enriching everyday meal times on our campuses with both music and theater.

Who said stories are for children only? Members of the Student Theatre of Oulu create a relaxing and whimsical lunch break by reading fairy tales and stories this time in the restaurant Kerttu at the Linnanmaa campus on Wednesday the 13th of May between 11.30-12.00. Welcome!

In 2026, the University of Oulu will organize a year-long Campus as a Stage event series, the purpose of which is to showcase the broad cultural expertise of our university community and bring culture to the everyday life of our campuses and to the wider public. The series includes culture lunches, culture lectures, After Work events, various exhibitions and community art works, and art tours of the university's art collections.
