Changes to parking areas in Linnanmaa starting 1 November 2026

Approximately 200 parking spaces have been removed from the P8 area due to new construction work for the Teacher Training School (*Normaalikoulu*). The parking maps for the P8 area in the eParking and MazeMap systems have been updated to reflect these changes. As compensation for the loss of parking spaces in the P8 area, the university is transferring the parking spaces located in the P5 area—both those with heating posts and those without—to the use of Oamk (Oulu University of Applied Sciences). The use of the P5 area as a university parking zone will cease entirely on October 31, 2026. The replacement of parking signage in the P5 area will begin next week. The parking area maps in the eParking and MazeMap applications will be updated in the near future to ensure they are current by November 1, 2026.
