Course on the Use of Hydrogen in Metallurgy

A PhD-course on the utilization of hydrogen in metal production will be organized by the Process Metallurgy Research Unit in spring 2026. The course is intended for PhD-students as well as engineers working in metallurgical industry.

The course on the Use of Hydrogen in Metallurgy (4 ECTS) will be organized during the spring semester of 2026 at the University of Oulu. The course contains 2 hours of lectures per week from mid-March to mid-May and the lectures are given by professor Pasquale Cavaliere, PhD Mikko Iljana, PhD Henri Pauna and PhD Aidin Heidari. All the lectures are on-site at the University of Oulu, but there will be a possibility to listen to the lectures via Teams for the participants outside Oulu.
