Exercise counselling offers individual guidance for students who need support and advice with questions related to physical activity. The sessions are always tailored to each student’s own needs and goals.

Typical reasons for seeking exercise counselling include lack of regular exercise routines and finding enjoyable ways to be active. Many also hope that physical activity will support their mental wellbeing and stress management. The role of the exercise counsellor is to provide practical tips for a more active daily life, as well as encouragement and support towards your personal goals.

At UniMove, exercise counselling is provided by Mia Tervo. The service is free of charge and does not require UniMove membership. You can easily book an appointment via the booking calendar on UniMove’s website. At the moment, appointments are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
