Come and spend time in the Student Living Room
The Student Living Room is open Tuesday to Friday from 12:00 to 18:00. You can study, meet other students, play games, or simply spend time at Moodi. Free snacks are also available. You can drop by for a short while or stay longer – just as long as you like.
Activities and time together
Moodi offers a variety of activities you can take part in. For example:
Art Thursday
In the open art workshop, you can try out a variety of techniques and materials. No advance registration, previous experience, or your own equipment is needed. You can join whenever it suits your schedule, even in the middle of the day. Art Thursday takes place every Thursday from 12:00 to 18:00, and instructor Jasmin is there to help and guide you.
Game nights
At game nights, you can play board games, card games, and other games with others. Come and play with friends or meet new people – you can join on your own or with a friend.
Surplus food
On Fridays, you can have a meal together with other students and enjoy free surplus food from 13:00 to 16:00, or for as long as food is available.
International students are also warmly welcome! Most of Moodi’s activities are held in Finnish, but you are welcome to join even if you are still developing your Finnish skills. At Moodi, you can meet other students, take part in activities together, and practice Finnish in a relaxed environment. Find out more about activities suitable for international students here.
Support with internships, careers and your future
You can also come to Moodi when you have questions about your studies, internship, career, or future.
At the Internship Clinic, you can get support with questions such as finding an internship, identifying your skills, or reflecting on your internship experience. The Internship Clinic is available without an appointment on Tuesdays from 16:00 to 18:00.
Career guidance gives you the opportunity to discuss topics such as job seeking, your CV, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, your skills, or your future direction. Career guidance is available without an appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 14:00 to 16:00.
