Five University of Oulu fields rank among the world’s top 100 in the Shanghai Ranking

The Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, published by Shanghai Ranking, evaluates the world’s best universities in 57 academic subjects this year. A total of 23 University of Oulu subjects rank among the world’s top 500, with five reaching the global top 100. Water resources performed best, rising to 50th place worldwide.

Among the University of Oulu’s academic subjects, water resources, telecommunications engineering, mining and mineral engineering, hospitality and tourism management, and electrical and electronic engineering ranked among the world’s top 100.
