Juho Jokinen appointed student representative to the Board of Directors
At its meeting on 12 October 2026, the Collegium of the University of Oulu confirmed the election of Juho Jokinen as a student member of the Board of Directors of the University of Oulu. He will replace Lotta Pennala, who resigned from the board, for the remainder of the 2026–2027 term. The new student member of the board was elected by the Student Council of the Student Union of the University of Oulu.
Juho Jokinen studies Finnish at the University of Oulu. Jokinen has gained previous experience in positions of trust, for example, as a student representative in the university's administration. During the term 2026–2027, he has represented students in the Education Management Group.
