University of Oulu students and staff can use the Medical Library also outside the opening hours. Self-service use is possible with a student's 24/7 Campus Card or a staff ID card.

The self-service library is available for use every day 7:30-21:00 with a separate electronic access key also in the summer.
Library's book return box can be accessed during the opening hours of the Paasi building in June and in August. The campus is closed 30.6.–3.8., so only customers who have obtained a separate electronic access key to the self-service library can return loans during this time.
Oulainen Learning Centre
Opening hours vary weekly, please check the daily opening hours in Oula-Finna.

Please note! Oulainen Learning Centre will close permanently on 6.6.2025. Loans and self-service use keys can be returned to the Learning Centre's return box also after the summer break between August 4 and October 17, 2025. Read more here.
