Looking for a creative break from your studies? Join the open-to-all Print, Laser & Decorate workshops!

This autumn, the Print, Laser & Decorate workshops on the Linnanmaa campus offer a chance to explore the combination of art, design and technology through hands-on creative activities. The workshops are free of charge, open to everyone, and require no previous experience or registration.

In all workshops, instructors will guide you from the initial idea to the finished product, so you can join with confidence even if you have never tried these techniques before. Come on your own or with friends, try something new, and take home a unique item of your own design.

In the Glow in Your Own Style workshops, participants can create and print their own designs on T-shirts, tote bags, and other textiles. You are welcome to bring your own item to customize or use the materials available at the workshop.

The workshop series continues with the Lasercut your own accessory workshop, where participants can design and create accessories such as earrings or bow ties using laser-cutting technology.

This workshop series is part of the University of Oulu's Campus as a Stage 2026 culture program. In 2026, the University of Oulu will organize a year-long Campus as a Stage event series, which aims to showcase the broad cultural expertise of our university community and bring culture to everyday life on our campuses and to a wider audience. The series includes cultural lunches, cultural lectures, After Work events, various exhibitions and community art works, and art tours of the university's art collections.
