Moodle version update on Monday, June 22, 2026

Moodle will be updated to version 5.2 on Monday, 22 June 2026. The current version is 4.5. The update will begin early in the morning, and an announcement will be published on the Moodle front page once the update is complete. During the update, Moodle will not be available.

The update does not require any action from students. All existing Moodle courses and their content will remain unchanged.

Moodle 5.2 introduces a clearer and more user-friendly interface. There will be only minor changes to activities, improving their usability. As a new feature, courses may include an Activities tab, which brings together assignments, deadlines, and your progress in one view.
