New course on the Anthropology of Migration
This Spring, students have the opportunity to take a new 5-ECTS English-language course providing an overview of the main theories and critical reflections to think about the complex dynamics shaping migration and human mobilities in our contemporary world.
Through a succession of lectures, reading circles, and a practical group work, the course will tackle questions regarding the different forms of migrations and mobilities and how they are shaped by global power dynamics: Why do people move? What are their experiences in their new countries of residence? How can we make sense of complex spatial and temporal dimensions that are set in motion by migratory movements?
Registration until March 8 (code: 687246A-3002 Anthropology of Migration).
