New for students: Learning and well-being walk-in (Kontinkangas)

Do you need support with studying, managing everyday life or career planning? Quickly and without an appointment? Come and ask the university specialists at Learning Support and Wellbeing Walk-in sessions.

What will you get?

You can receive quick guidance and low-threshold support on topics such as:

  • learning difficulties
  • time management
  • the role of physical activity and recovery in wellbeing
  • career thoughts and planning for the future
  • coping and stress during studies

Specialists from the Learning support and wellbeing centre will be present on a rotating basis, including study psychologists, guidance professionals, sports designers, and career counsellors.

Please note that the walk-in sessions are intended for getting to know the services. If you wish to receive more in-depth guidance, you will need to book a separate individual guidance appointment. We will explain during the walk-in how to make a booking!

When and where?

When? The first Friday of each month: 2 October, 6 November, and 4 December

Time: 11:30–12:30

Where? Kieppi lobby, Kontinkangas campus

Who is it for? All University of Oulu students

You can come by without an appointment, alone or with a friend. We do not answer degree programme-specific questions, but we will help you find the right services and guide you forward if needed!
