OP Future Demo at the University of Oulu, 21 September - 2 October 2026
The OP Future Demo will be on display at the University of Oulu from 21 September to 2 October 2026, inviting students to take part in a unique and engaging experience. The multimedia installation takes participants on a journey through stories of a more hopeful future.
Visitors are invited to step inside a capsule, where they will receive a call from the future. During the experience, they can help members of a future family with everyday decisions and choices. Their own responses influence how the story unfolds and ends, making each visit a slightly different experience.
The aim of the OP Future Demo is to encourage visitors to reflect on what a more hopeful future could mean for individuals, families, and society as a whole. Combining storytelling, technology, and interactive participation, the installation sparks discussion about future possibilities and the choices that shape them.
