Oulu Business School expands collaboration with KEDGE Business School

KEDGE Business School is a prestigious triple-accredited business school with its main campuses located in Bordeaux, Marseille, and Paris, France.

The collaboration between OBS and KEDGE aims to provide students from both schools with broader, more versatile study opportunities through double degrees. Another objective is to enrich the educational offering with country- and culture-specific studies.

By completing a double degree, students receive a degree from both universities. Currently, students majoring in International Business Management at OBS can pursue a double master’s degree at KEDGE. Work is currently underway to expand double degree opportunities to the bachelor’s level.

Shared direction

The schools share common goals in developing education. Discussions highlighted international partnerships and various ways to create new opportunities for students. During the visit, the delegation also met students from OBS who are currently studying at KEDGE.

“KEDGE is ready to welcome our students, and they have well-resourced services and support in place for students coming from us,” says Tuija Lämsä.

From Oulu Business School, the delegation included Vice Dean for Education Marika Iivari, Bachelor’s Programme Director Tuija Lämsä, Director of the International Bachelor’s Programme Lauri Haapanen, and Education Designers Pia Heikkinen, Marja Larivaara, and Elisa Mejías.

At KEDGE, the visitors were welcomed by Dean Isabelle Fagnot, Study Abroad Office Manager Anna Nerriere, Incoming Mobility Coordinator Pauline Bouffard, and European Partnership Manager Florence Morel.
