Parking in the University of Oulu parking areas

Parking in parking areas is only permitted in marked parking spaces. Parking on the edges of parking areas is prohibited unless specifically permitted by parking signs. Parking on the edges of parking areas or in other than marked parking spaces makes it difficult to move around in the parking areas, causes dangerous situations and hinders the maintenance of the areas. University of Oulu managed parking spaces may not be used for long-term continuous parking or storing a vehicle.

Parking control on the university campus areas follows three things:

1. the registration number of the car used for parking is entered in the eParking system
2. parking takes place in the correct permit area
3. parking takes place in marked parking spaces
