Parking in the University of Oulu parking areas

Parking in the parking areas is only permitted in marked parking spaces. Parking on the edges of the parking areas is prohibited unless specifically permitted by parking signs. Parking on the edges of the parking areas or in other than marked parking spaces makes it difficult to move around in the parking areas, causes dangerous situations and hinders the maintenance of the areas. It is prohibited to keep a vehicle in the university parking areas other than during working hours.

Parking control in the university campus areas follows three things:

1. the registration number of the car used for parking is entered in the eParking system
2. parking is done in the correct permit area
3. parking is done in marked parking spaces
