Preview of Studio Korppikela’s Anime Film in L2 Lecture Hall on 30 October at 5 PM

The University of Oulu’s Oulu2026 cultural programme’s Campus as a Stage events continue on Friday, 30 October, with a preview of the new Anime film by the hobby association Studio Korppikela. The screening will begin at 5:00 PM in Lecture Hall L2.

Inspired by the world of Japanese animation, this fan film brings together both classic anime characters and newer audience favourites. In the story, friends Usagi and Light are transported to another world during a university trip and become separated. Resourceful Usagi assembles a team and sets out to find her friend, while Light struggles with the temptations of the dark side.

The film is the result of a collaboration between film enthusiasts and cosplayers from Oulu, offering anime fans a chance to see a locally produced work before its official release.

Japanese Ramune soft drinks will be served to attendees during the screening. The event is open to everyone and does not require advance registration.
