Requirements for doctoral thesis updated in the field of Health and Biosciences

The updated doctoral thesis requirements primarily concern the use of video, data and protocol publications, as well as review articles, in a doctoral thesis. In a thesis comprising two papers, a video, data or protocol publication must be accompanied by at least one original research article that has been published or accepted for publication. In a thesis comprising three or more papers, one of the papers may be a systematic or scoping review, or a peer-reviewed video, data or protocol publication. Narrative reviews are not accepted as a component of a doctoral thesis.
