The Research Council of Finland grants funding for multidisciplinary research infrastructure at the Centre for Material Analysis

The three-year AMPEERI project, which will start at the beginning of 2026, will develop facilities and processes to fabricate and analyse new type of biomedical and microelectronics sensors. This infrastructure is a multidisciplinary platform that can be utilised in various fields of science and technology. The project will procure, install and start-up thin film fabrication devices, nanoscale 3D printer and in situ -electron microscope. The foremost scientific fields are biomedical, battery and catalyst development, microelectronics, steel research and hydrogen technology. This research infrastructure will be used by many local companies in their R&D&I work.
