Shanghai Ranking: Five University of Oulu subjects among the world’s top 100

The Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, published by Shanghai Ranking, evaluates the world’s leading universities across 57 academic subjects. This year, 22 subjects at the University of Oulu ranked among the world’s top 500. Of these, five were placed in the global top 100.

The highest-ranked subject at the University of Oulu was Telecommunication Engineering, which secured 41st place among all participating universities. Within Europe, it ranked sixth, and among Finnish universities, it came first.

In addition to Telecommunication Engineering, the following subjects were also ranked among the world’s top 100: Hospitality & Tourism Management, Water Resources, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and Mining & Mineral Engineering.
