Three Postdoctoral Researchers positions open in the Hybrid Intelligence research programme

We are now looking for three Postdoctoral Researchers to join us in the Hybrid Intelligence (HI) research programme (Profi7) at the University of Oulu. The postdoctoral researcher positions will be placed in themes of Data and algorithm-assisted HI, Understanding humans in AI interaction, The extended human mind in multi-realities, and Emerging sustainable effects of human technology interaction on the quality of life.

We are now looking for Three Postdoctoral Researchers for a three-year fixed-term positions to contribute to our Hybrid Intelligence (HI) Research Programme at the University of Oulu (Finland). The postdoctoral researcher positions will be in either the Faculty of Education and Psychology, the Faculty of Information Technology and Electronic Engineering, or the Faculty of Medicine.

The University has recently launched a new multi-faculty strategic research program, “Hybrid Intelligence: Human-AI Co-evolution and Learning in Multi-realities (HI). The program forms a part of the University of Oulu's national profiling actions supported by the Research Council of Finland.

About the jobs

We are calling for proposals dealing with the following themes:

1) Data and algorithm-assisted HI, including but not limited to multi-modal social behavior analysis; machine learning coupling human in the loop; visualizable and explainable interaction analysis;

2) Understanding humans in AI interaction, including, but not limited to: understanding teaching, learning and interaction processes to build HI systems that augment rather than replace human intelligence in educational contexts;

3) The extended human mind in multi-realities, including, but not limited to, mixed and augmented reality technologies and intelligence augmentation;

4) Emerging sustainable effects of human technology interaction on the quality of life, including but not limited to improving healthcare with the enhancement of augmented care or development of augmented learning solutions in education.
