University of Oulu ranked among the top 500 universities in the world

This year’s ranking included over 21,000 universities, with the top 2,000 receiving a position.

The Global 2000 ranking assesses the quality of research using various indicators, including the number of publications, publications in top-tier journals, and citation counts.

It also takes into account the number of prestigious awards received by alumni and staff, as well as the number of alumni who have become CEOs of leading global companies.

The ranking is published by the Center for World University Rankings.
