Project description
The project will pool data from the population-based Northern Finland Birth Cohort 1966 and 1986 studies with extensive follow-up data across the lifespan and 24-hour device-based monitoring of daily activities for 14 days during adulthood (N=5,621 and 1,721). FINNACT24 will use innovative analytical techniques to reveal how adults may balance their use of time for a healthier day with options to act on different behaviors depending on individuals’ circumstances and capacity. This includes revealing the combination (mix) of sleep and waking activities that could confer similar health benefits.
