Project description

In North Ostrobothnia, road traffic is the second largest contributor to climate emissions in the region, accounting for 22% of total climate emissions.

The project aims to find solutions to improve the profitability of companies, accelerate the introduction of new technologies and promote energy efficiency in the region.

There are several logistics companies operating in the region that recognize the need to promote energy efficiency and increase the use of renewable energy in transport due to climate change.

During the project, electric and combustion engine-powered commercial vehicles will drive similar routes under the same conditions and comparable data on energy efficiency and emission reduction will be collected.
