Research group description
Biomedical Vision and Learning research team is dedicated to developing automated and objective mechanisms to reduce interobserver and intraobserver variability in cancer diagnosis, utilizing artificial intelligence as an assistive tool for pathologists or doctors. The team focuses on developing novel algorithms and methodologies to identify clinically relevant morphological phenotypes and biomarkers associated with therapeutic responses. The team also works on developing multimodal fusion algorithms that integrate information from multiple imaging modalities, familial and patient histories, and multi-omics data to enable more precise diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic determinations.
