Prior to moving to Oulu, I was a Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Computer Science, University of Helsinki from 08 Feb 2018 to 07 Feb 2022. During my PhD, I worked primarily in the areas of Pervasive Computing and Multimedia Computing with a special focus on privacy and robustness. I defended my PhD thesis titled Towards Trustworthy Ubiquitous Computing: Bringing Privacy and Robustness to Computing in Context. I also briefly worked in the End-to-End Radio Network Service Automation Department at Nokia Bell Labs Espoo in 2021.

My current collaboration network in Finland includes VTT, Ericsson Research (under IETF/IRTF context), Alif Semiconductor, Aalto University, and University of Helsinki. I also advise Soundxvision Oy, Helsinki XR Center based startup which aims to build small form factor input modality hardware for XR headsets. Soundxvision received an angel investment in December 2023.

My research has been supported by FARIA - Finnish-American Research & Innovation Accelerator, FICORE - Indian-Finnish Consortia for Research and Education, Nokia Foundation, HPY Research Foundation, and Walter Ahlström Foundation.
