Anna Varfolomeeva

Anna Varfolomeeva is researching the impact of wind energy development on more-than-human connections in the Finnish North. This project builds up on her previous experience of ethnographic field research on Indigeneity and human - resource connections in mining regions of Northwest Russia and Siberia. Before joining the University of Oulu, Anna worked at Helsinki Insitute of Sustainability Science (HELSUS) and at the University of Tyumen in Siberia. She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Policy (2019) from Central European University in Budapest/Vienna.
