I work as a Project Researcher and I am a PhD student in the Research Unit of Health Sciences and Technology (HST) at the University of Oulu, within the Health Care Education and Competence (HealthEduCom) Lab. My work is part of the XRHealthEdu project, which explores how extended reality (XR) and artificial intelligence can support the development of innovative healthcare education.
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in health psychology and a Master’s degree in Human–Computer Interaction and User Experience. My research interests lie at the intersection of health and technology.
In my doctoral research, I focus on the design and development of immersive simulation environments for nursing education.
