My research lies at the intersection of pain epidemiology and general practice. I study the impact of pain on physical functioning, quality of life, and work ability, with a particular focus on biopsychosocial factors associated with the development and persistence of disabling pain. My work utilizes population-based cohorts, health register data, and primary care research settings to support the prevention and management of persistent pain.
