My doctoral dissertation investigates the comprehensibility of social and health care texts translated into Nothern Sámi. What kind of texts are easy to read and what are not? I focus on general, public instructions and bulletins for customers and patients. My aim is to create more tools for writers and translators to produce texts that are easy to read.
