Hanna Kemppi

Hanna Kemppis pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Medical Physics and Technology at the Research Unit of Health Sciences and Technology, University of Oulu. She is working in Prof. Simo Saarakkala's group (Diagnostics of Osteoarthritis) and studying smart 3D nanobiomaterials for the cartilage tissue engineering applications.

She received her MSc. at Faculty of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering, Tampere University of Technology. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant in Assist. Prof. Oommen P. Oommen's group (Bioengineering and Nanomedicine group) in years 2017-2018. She was studying extracellular matrix mimetic hydrogels, engineered nanoparticles and their effect on cellular behavior.
