Henriikka Salminen

I work as a Postdoctoral researcher in the Physical Geography Research Group. I am interested in the diversity of abiotic nature, i.e. geodiversity. I study fine-scale geodiversity and its importance for biodiversity and land management. For example, I dive into the connection between plot-scale geodiversity and the vegetation of Northern mountain heaths, I observe the geodiversity in different environments and I study how humans affect geodiversity at the local level.
