I teach topics related to the green transition, climate change, and sustainability within physics degree programs.

My background is in geophysics (MSc, University of Helsinki). In my interdisciplinary doctoral research, I later focused on climate competence. I studied experts’ climate competence as well as the prerequisites for transformative learning required to address the climate crisis in higher education—particularly in interdisciplinary teaching within geosciences and atmospheric sciences.

Drawing on my diverse background, I develop international education on the green transition in the field of physics. I coordinate the TFK project H2FIND (2025–2028), in which we are creating a Double Degree master’s program as well as doctoral training in partnership with the Indian Amity University.
