Katri Ruokamo-Korva is a doctoral researcher at the Research Unit of Biomedicine and Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine. Katri holds a Master of Science degree with a major in biochemistry, and a Master of Health Sciences degree with a major in epidemiology and biomedical data science. Her research focuses on genetic epidemiology and on investigating the genetic and biological background of infectious diseases. Katri utilizes large-scale population-based datasets and computational methods in her research. The doctoral thesis is part of the InFlames ImmuDocs doctoral education pilot.
