Kimia Asgharizadeh is a doctoral researcher in the Environmental and Chemical Engineering Research Unit at the University of Oulu. She holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Tabriz, Iran, where she began her research on CO2 methanation. Currently, her doctoral work focuses on developing catalytic systems to improve the efficiency of converting CO2 into carbon-neutral fuels such as methane. Her research is supervised by Associate Professor Satu Ojala and Dr. Anne Heponiemi.
