I work as a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Unit of Population Health, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oulu, Finland. Serving as a coordinator and responsible physician for the data collection of the Northern Finland Birth Cohort 1966 (NFBC1966) that includes participants turning 60 in 2026-2027, I am particularly interested in multi-morbidity, healthy ageing, and health technology.

I am a medical doctor specialized in general practice and public health medicine with diverse clinical experience across various healthcare sectors in Finland. My doctoral thesis related to epidemiology and public health, focusing on healthcare professionals’ online queries in detection of infectious disease epidemics.

I am finishing my studies in Master’s Programme in Epidemiology and Biomedical Data Science (EBDS), at the University of Oulu.
