I work as a Senior Research Fellow in the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine. I aim at investigating the role of extracellular matrix in tissue homeostasis and pathological processes. My current research interests focus on the role of extracellular matrix in the remodeling processes during carcinogenesis in the tumour microenvironment as well as in fibrosis and heart pathogenesis.
