The Paleoecology group focuses on using quantitative methods to reconstruct past environments at as high a temporal and spatial resolution as possible. Research is progress through the four projects listed below. All these projects are multi and interdisciplinary and have numerous international contacts. They are using innovative techniques and developing new approaches to problems relevant to Climate change, Landscape conservation and Biodiversity. They provide a training environment for PhD students and ensure that this training is at an internationally recognized high standard.
