Iida Hellberg received her PhD degree in Medical Physics and Technology at the University of Oulu in 2023. She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Simo Saarakkala's Diagnostics of Osteoarthritis Research Group at the Research Unit of Health Sciences and Technology, University of Oulu.

Her research focuses on 3D quantification of soft tissue microstructures in osteoarthritis using micro-computed tomography.
