Biography

Mohammad Tavakolian received the BSc. and MSc. degrees in Electronics Engineering from Tafresh University, Iran, in 2011 and 2013, respectively. Currently, he is a doctoral researcher at Center for Machine Vision and Signal Analysis (CMVS), University of Oulu. He has published several papers in top conferences and journals such as ACCV, ICIP, and the IEEE Transactions on Human-Machine Systems. His research interests include computer vision, machine learning and deep learning, biometrics and face analysis, pattern recognition, and multi-modal data analysis.
