Biography

I am currently working on a TunTuVa-project that is lead by the Learning and Educational Technology research unit (LET) from the university of Oulu, and funded by Finnish National Agency for Education.

My research focus is in early childhood education and childhood studies, specially in young children's multimodal narration, relations and agency. I have been as a researcher in many projects concerning early childhood educational policy, children's narrative practices.

Developing the quality assessment in early childhood education

I was a member of an early childhood education and care quality assessment expert group (2017-2018). The publication Guidelines and recommendations for evaluating the quality of early childhood education and care was published in English in 2019.
