Teck Ming (Terence) Tan, ( holds a D.Sc. (Economics & Business Administration) from the Oulu Business School (AACSB accredited), Finland. He is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Oulu Business School. He is currently doing research on blockchain, cryptocurrency, and how consumers humanize a brand (e.g., from positive a brand relationship to a negative brand relationship i.e., betrayal and vice versa). His previous interest includes brand equity, self-presentation, self-congruence, and construal-level theory. His paper has been published in the Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Marketing, Electronic Commerce Research, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, and NA–Advances in Consumer Research.
