Education description
The course is intended for doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers who are interested in microbiome research and microbial community data analysis. It is particularly relevant for researchers working in fields such as microbiology, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences, medicine and other life science disciplines.
The course is open to doctoral researchers from different doctoral programmes, as well as postdoctoral researchers who wish to gain an introduction to microbiome sequencing analysis using the QIIME 2 platform.
Basic familiarity with molecular biology and sequencing concepts is beneficial, but no prior experience with QIIME 2 is required.
The course is particularly relevant for doctoral researchers working in microbiology, microbiome research, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences, and related life science disciplines. Doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers from other doctoral programmes with an interest in microbiome data analysis using QIIME 2 may also participate, subject to availability.
