Education description

After completing the course, you will understand

  • what aspects related to sustainability, diversity and inclusion are – or could be – relevant to your research project and how can you strengthen these perspectives in your own research.
  • principles of Open Science in project preparation, data management and FAIR principles, reproducibility, publication strategies (including open licenses, choosing publication channels and repositories, avoiding predatory journals), and research dissemination as well as their role in research assessment and broader academic evaluation.

The course is completed as self-study on the Moodle platform.

The primary teaching language is English, but the assignments can also be answered in Finnish.

Continuous assessment is used in the course, which includes 7 assignments that must be successfully completed.
