Writing a PhD summary (compilation thesis)

The course consists of four monthly meetings. The meetings consist of reading and familiarizing oneself with compilation theses in different fields of education and learning and discussing about best practices for writing one’s own compilation.

After the completion of the course, the participants are able to:

• plan and construct an initial plan for the structure and contents of their compilation part
• identify and describe the function and style of the compilation as an academic text
• evaluate existing compilation texts from different fields of study and relate these to own work.
  

These learning outcomes include the development of the following generic skills: analytical, critical and creative thinking; multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary collaboration; and communication, interaction and digital skills.
