Come and spend atmospheric evenings on campus! The aim of the Campus as a Stage After Work events is to bring the campuses to life even after working and studying days. The program includes music, theater and good company. After Work events are generally held on the last Wednesday of every month. Did you miss dances during the summer? Worry not, the season is still on! Teekkaritorvet plays traditional dance music in the semester opening. The event will be held on the Linnanmaa campus at Pihlajapiha (with weather permitting: in case of rain, the event will be held indoors). The event is open and does not include an admission fee.

Psst! If you want to continue the evening after the concert, stay and watch the performance by the Professor band, which continues after 18:00 in the same place.

In 2026, the University of Oulu will organize a year-long Campus as a Stage event series, the purpose of which is to showcase the broad cultural expertise of our university community and bring culture to the everyday life of our campuses and to the wider public. The series includes cultural lunches, cultural lectures, After Work events, various exhibitions and community art works, and art tours of the university's art collections.
