Moving abroad to live and study is a big transition that might affect you in unexpected ways. After the exciting start, you may notice that it is everything but easy to adjust yourself to the new environment and culture. If you think you might need help with your adaptation process or culture shock, or if you just want to talk to someone about your situation, we are here to support you.

You are welcome to the Cultural Adaptation Support sessions at Linnanmaa campus, where you can come and talk about your situation, ask questions, and get support to your adaptation process:

  • Thu 11 Jan 2024 at 15.00-16.00, location: Frost Club, Tellus
  • Thu 25 Jan 2024 at 15.00-16.00, location: Frost Club, Tellus

There is no registration. You may also meet other students who are going through the same thing as you.

Please, check out also the page for Culture Shock and Homesickness, that provides you with information about the culture shock and adaptation process, as well as practical tips to promote your wellbeing.
